ASD and Transition Board costs

These boards are virtually identical to those which are already in use in the CDF Run II
detector. They were built by the Frascati group and the estimates below are based 
on that experience. 


The time to produce, including lead times for parts, labor and testing, for both the transition
board and the ASD is 10 months. 


Transition board costs:


(1) Printed circuit board 		130 $

(2) Front panel + VME conn.		 50 $ (**) 
	(1 front panel + 2 VME connectors)

(3) LEMO conn. on the board		275 $	($5.73 $/each x 48 input)

(4) Transformers			 36 $

ASD Costs:


(1) Components                      	500$

(2) Printed circuits              	350-400$ (*)

(3) Assembly of (1)+(2)           	350-400$ (*)

(4) Connectors + front panels      	50-150  (**)
